so kinda fell off the wagon with going to the movies. toy story 3 was great but what i really enjoyed was the popcorn! no candy but so many carbs. hubby was in a carb coma for the rest of the day.
we did have chicken for dinner but i had wine and some chocolate too.
then day 5 was a mess. bread and cheese.
today is fathers day. going to make some eggs. YUCK. but will have lots of cheese.
then turkey legs at church today. and we get our kitten! hopefully i can stay away from carbs. if not, tomorrow is another day right?

is it getting easier yet? lots of cooking involved in eating low carb. ready for some takeout. :D

day 3
2 whole days!! really wanted to have wine and crackers last night. (both of which i have in the house!) but i sliced up my veggies and then had jello with raspberries and rediwhip and i was great! slept good too.
(and don't tell anyone but i weighed this morning and the scale says i'm down 8 pounds! don't know about that but it made me feel good!)

la tortilla factory tortilla toasted with almond butter and bacon... yum!!
i went to the store for a few things to round out our week and i got kinda woozy. and felt like i needed a pick me up. like heroin. haha. so i bought some diet cherry vanilla pepsi. and now i've had 2 of them. i'll be up all night
lunch was romaine leaves with turkey, ham, cheese, and a little mayo. with some salt and pepper pork rinds. not a pork rind fan. but these were not bad and i needed some crunchy.
for dinner i made fried shrimp! battered in pork rinds. sounds weird, tasted great! and home make coleslaw. yummy. probably won't make the fried shrimp again just b/c it's messy and greasy but they were very very good.
i feel like i want another pepsi. is it the sweet taste or what? idk. waiting for hubby to get home from practice so we can have jello and berries. think i'll have blueberries tonight

day 2
woot! i did it! one whole day with no sugar!!!
ok i may be getting a little excited about nothing but hey, i'll take what i can get.
breakfast - la tortilla (which i found out i got the lg size so i should cut it in half but maybe next week) with almond butter and bacon. soooo much better than eggs. yuck.
since i ate such a filling bkft i didn't want lunch at lunch time and i'm determined to eat on my stomach's schedule not the clocks. so i made lunch for michael and the boys and decided to eat when i was hungry. i got hungry about 4:00.
steak about 6oz
spinach
artichoke hearts 3
1/2 avocado
blue cheese dressing
made into a salad
we just got home from church and top chef starts tonight. i'm so excited but nervous b/c normally i would have wine and cheese and crackers to watch it. i have jello with redi whip and i'm gonna slice some zucchini and cucumbers to dip in dressing. hopefully that will satisfy me!

the first day of the rest of my life!!
day number 1
so today i start Fat to Skinny Fast and Easy. hubby is doing it with me. i wanted to keep a record of what i ate. i'm going to do it here. this is a no sugar lifestyle. and sugar is killing me. i have gained 30 pounds in the past year!! wine has lots of sugar. so no wine. will be eating lots of protein and veggies. berries are allowed. and i can have certain wraps. looks like i'm going to be learning how to love eggs! (yuck) i'm headed out to make breakfast. this is what i'm making.
2 eggs scrambled with some shredded cheddar cheese
la tortilla wrap
salsa hope it's good
lunch beefcabob with peppers and onions yummy!!
dinner rotisserie chicken (no skin) asparagus
SF jello with fresh strawberries, and 2 tbsp rediwhip
tomorrow i plan on having more veggies
